Najavljena je že druga edicija novega Tolminskega festivala Tolminator.

Na samem festivalu je bilo na voljo 666 early bird hardticket vstopnic za 120 eur, medtem ko so vstopnice v predprodaji 150 eur in jih je mogoče dobiti TUKAJ

glede na to, da sta Skunksa iz naftalina privlekla Aura Noir, bi pa še z DT lahko poskusila srečo. Fenriza denar itak ne zanima, zato se mu morda ponudi kaka posebna nočitev ob Soči. :)

Vi o DT in evo .... DT prihajajo! Ampak tisti "moji" (Fenriza itak živa duša ne bo nikoli spravila na turnejo) - kako sem vesel, da bom po ne vem koliko letih spet videl Dark Tranquillity :)  ... najbolj prisrčen band gotenburške melodeath scene, ki v skorajda 35ih letih ni izdal slabega albuma.

Današnje napovedi:

☠️ Exodus – The original kings of the Bay Area Thrash scene! 
☠️ Dark Tranquillity  – One of the pioneers of the Gothenburg Melodic Death Metal sound! 
☠️ Toxic Holocaust – Speed, Thrash, Black, Punk fused into one kick ass band! 
☠️ Devil Master – A superb band from Relapse Records that mixes early Black Metal, Japanese hardcore, Yankee d-beat, and swirling death rock! 
☠️ Dopelord – Polish stoners that perform a style of doom in similar fashion to modern Electric Wizard and Windhand.

Ve kdo slučajno do kdaj se bo dalo kupiti karto po presale ceni? Zelooo obetaven festival drugače :)

Poljski black metalci Behemoth so bili minuli petek napovedani kot glavni headliner na Tolminatorju 2024. Poleg njih je organizator najavil še legendarne Testament in druge zanimive zasedbe: Rise Of The Northstar, Asphyx, Misery Index, Stoned Jesus in Lik.

Celoten seznam nastopajočih je zdaj takšen: Behemoth, Testament, Exodus, Dark Tranquillity, Rise Of The Northstar, Primordial, Suffocation, Tankard, Asphyx, Gutalax, Toxic Holocaust, Misery Index, Harakiri for the Sky, Deströyer 666, Gaerea, Lik, Sinister, Stoned Jesus, Milking The Goatmachine, Dopelord, Devil Master, Necrot, Dark Insanity.

WARM UP!

Junija se bo v ljubljanski Menzi pri Koritu zgodil uradni Warm Up Party Tolminator Metal Festa. 21. junija bodo v Ljubljani razgrajali Smedja in Smetke in legendarni Brujeria. Poleg omenjenih zasedb Dirty Skunks napovedujejo še presenečenje »Surprise 666«. Pustimo se torej dodatno presenetiti.

Znani so še zadnji nastopajoči na letošnji izvedbi festivala Tolminator, ki se bo odvijal med 24. in 28. julijem v Tolminu. Kot četrti in zadnji headliner so potrjeni Electric Wizard! Na glavnem odru bodo nastopili Jungle Rot in Dödsrit, na underground odru pa Stillbirth, Dust Bolt, Monochromatic Black, Mezzrow, Nemesis, Infest, Dusk in Dezaztre.

Poleg že omenjenih na festivalu igrajo še zasedbe Natural, Battlesword, Public Grave, False Crown, Carrion, Patroness, Behind Bars, Astral Paralysis, Chronic Hate, Nekrodeus, Total Annihilation, Contractkiller, Slave To Sirens, Thy Legion in Eternal Struggle, od domačih bandov pa Kamra, Samperium, Dethrone The Corrupted in Sovrag.

Znan je tudi že razpored nastopajočih po dnevih in naslednji teden gre v prodajo omejeno število dnevnih vstopnic. Festivalske vstopnice so na voljo na tej povezavi.

Quote Hi everyone, here's a couple of fresh and really exciting news: Yesterday marked a significant moment regarding the festival's location. After years of uncertainty and intense political battles, escalated right after the devastating pandemic, we can finally relax a little. Tolminator Metal Fest will remain in its current location for the next four years with a couple of minor changes, except for a substantial increase in the festival tax—alternatively known as the tourist tax—which has risen from 7,500 to a staggering 40,000 EUR starting this year. 
In summary, we have a four-year reprieve, and 2027 appears to be the final year for Tolminator Metal Fest in Tolmin.
Again, this are really exiting news for me and my crew. Something like that never happened before and we're more than happy to know that we are welcome in Tolmin for at least until 2027. 


“Mayor Alen Červ presented the proposal for the Decree on the conditions for the organization and implementation of festivals along the Sotočje River until 2027 in the introduction to point 3. As he pointed out, the municipality prepared it together with the representatives of all council lists, they devoted a lot of time and coordination to the work, and invited a wide range of stakeholders to participate. "After 2027, we will no longer see music festivals in the current scope and concept in the Sotočje area, as we want events that are consistent with the tourism development strategy, and in the interim period they are an acceptable alternative," Červ was clear. In the next four summer seasons, a maximum of three major music festivals with more than 800 visitors per day will be able to take place in the Sotočje area in 31 days (July-August). The maximum number of visitors per day will be 5,000. The music program of the open-air festival can last until 1:00 a.m. the following day at the latest, and the organizer will have to provide residents from the municipality with time-limited free access to the area by Sotočje during the festival, and provide free access to the German Ossuary for all visitors, free passage via the state remote bicycle connections on the section between the footbridge over the Tolminka River and Dijaška Street in the city of Tolmin, and a reverent departure from the cemetery in Tolmin at a distance of at least 50 meters. Depending on the number of visitors, the amount of the festival fee will be between EUR 500 per festival (smaller scale festivals) and EUR 8,000 per day (5,000 daily visitors). The municipality will distribute the tax collected among the local communities that are most affected during the festivals, the Sotočje area and the tourist infrastructure. The councilors first adopted the proposal of the decree without a vote against in the first, and then in the second reading.”

Ok, razumem, eno krajše obdobje ne bo jajcaja z občino in dovoljenji, kar bo olajšalo izvedbo naslednjih treh edicij, ampak a je to res pozitivna novica?

Študiram da bi se res mogl prekrstit v neko versko skupnost in zaščitit Tolmin sotočje kot romarsko destinacijo. Pol pa da vidimo kakšna je 2024 hierarhija vrednot, kako se ena na drugo zložijo lokalna samouprava, eko smernice in verske svoboščine.
