SAINT VITUS

6.6. @ Vintage Industrial bar, Zagreb


SAINT VITUS will be reuniting with original vocalist, Scott Reagers, for this summer's European tour. The band will play a special set mostly comprised of Reagers' era Saint Vitus' material. We hope that the Vitus family, fans and friends, are eager to revisit the Reagers sound for this tour.

Prejšnji teden sem bil v tem placu in je super, zvok je bil zelo dober in tudi precej prostorna zadeva. Uživajte!

Tebi kot oldskul warriorju to ne bi bilo všeč? Set, ki ga bojo odigrali, bo temeljil na prvih dveh albumih Hallows Victim in Saint Vitus, kjer so komadi hitrejši, ter na albumu Die Healing, ki pa je počasen, ampak tako izvrsten da mu je vredno dat priložnost.

Jaz in Doom Metal nisva lih neka prijatelja, Black Sabbath (če se jih sploh šteje pod Doom?) obožujem ampak vse ostalo mi pa ni neki, sem se trudil poslušat plate in v živo (Candlemass, Count Raven itd.) ampak mi enostavno ni nič posebnega. Od treh posnetkov ki si jih nalimal mi je zadnji še najboljši ampak ne tako dober, da bi šel. Skratka - uživajte. Smile

Če se ne motim je železniška povezava LJ-ZG kar dobra, prizorišče koncerta pa dokaj blizu proge.

Povezava je dobra, sam ne da se mi bit celo noč v Zagrebu če ni nujno. :)

Ja očitno prevoz iz LJ iščeva jaz in Finc, kolega iz Novega mesta bi se tudi pridružil v avtu. Če gre dol kakšna duša, ki nima sopotnikov, mu lahko očitno naredimo uslugo s povračilom stroška za bencin, kupovanjem soka in s pogovori o življenju, vesolju in sploh vsem.

Setlista predvčerajšnjega koncerta je za moj okus naravnost zakon (čeprav si ne znam predstavljat da bi ta band imel slabo setlisto):

Ne bi škodil še kak komad več iz Die Healing ampak če bomo dovolj glasni, si lahko še ziher kakšnega izborimo. Noro bo!  Po posnetkih sodeč je Reagersov glas še vedno to, kar je bil. Komaj čakam!

Boljšega metalskega koncerta pomoje še nisem videl. Ljudstvo je norelo od prvega tona do zadnjega. Dave Chandler tudi. Zdelo se mi je, kot da se izraz na obrazu Marka Adamsa ni spremenil cel koncert, premikal pa se je tudi bolj malo. Reagersu se je ves čas smejalo. Njegov vokal je bil za moje pojme enako odličen kot na platah, kakšna barva, kakšno petje! Publika je poznala komade, mobitelov je bilo v zraku minimalno, folk je bil obziren drug do drugega, folk se je objemal, razmetaval na White Stallions, ma ne bom nadaljeval sploh - vse je bilo noro, od glasbe do vzdušja do folka - na vsakem koraku prijeten attitude v glavnem.  

Komadi (ne da se mi razmišljat o vrstnem redu): saint vitus, white magic black magic, zombie hunger, psychopath, burial at sea, white stallions, war is our destiny, look behind you, born too late, dark world, one mind.

Klub je tudi zelo v redu, dejansko je za razliko od nekaterih drugih v Zagrebu mala malca pridet z avtom do njega. En kratek pogled na google maps doma je zadostoval.

Ocena večera: 11/10.
