Plata Sirens je odlična!!! V post-Dungeons obdobje se nism poglablou preveč (razn Hall of the Mountain King) pa mi tud na prvi 'okus' ni blo kj preveč všeč.

Meni kar sede Poets and madmen. Poslušal sem tudi Streets in Hall of the mountain king in sta mi obe  . OK, samo na prvi je vsaj en komad ki mi je fuuul všeč - Sammy and Tex.

Od njih imam tisti Best Of CD v spomin Chrisu Olivi, pa tudi nekaj ostalih plat poznam, sploh Power Of The Night sm dostikrat poslušou. Dobri so, najboljši komad mi je pa lih Believe pomoje, ja. Pa zakon intro na The Wake Of Maggelan albumu!

Hehe, Preško gre tud v Italijo, ker je bil parkrat tam na Savatage oz. Jon Oliva's Pain in je bilo vedno zakon ... pa tud Oliva ma poseben odnos do "mia bella Italia" in se vedno malo pozabava na račun svojih italijanskih korenin.

Fin, fin bend. Jon Oliva mojster balad, že omenjena Believe, pa If I go Away z iste plate, pa nesmrtna When the Crowds are Gone, pa All that I Bleed. Pava poslastica mi je prva polovica plate Power of the Night, Hall of the Mountain King je zakon, pa še Edge of Thorns kot edina iz Zakovega obdobja. Poets in Madmen ni napačna, Caffery je v nulo zadel značilno rifažo pokojnega Olive.
Najraj pa si zarolam Ghost in the Ruins kot odličen presek njihove kariere do Gutter Balleta. V glavnem: CARJI. ------------- Raul artista, siempre Madridista! |

Kurba, sm na Youtubu najdu par komadov z unim Damonom, al kar je že bil. Pa tip je car. Zakaj niso z njim posneli Poets and Madmen, mi ni jasno. Ne pa un (na žalost) počen Jonov vokal.

Ma si pozno ugotovil ... če se prav spomnim, ti takrat ni blo za it, ko so z njim špilal po P&M? Nisi šel z Bajotom v Graz, ne? Jup, P&M bi moral z njim posnet, pa še kej potem ... skinu je Olivo, tud Zakove komade je odlično odpel, idealen vokal za njih ... sicer je bolj "industrialc" po duši .... zdej živi v Nashvillu, poročil se je in se ne ukvarja z musko več |

Jon Oliva: I find it challenging -- it's fresh and I get excited about it. I knew what I was getting into... I knew what was ahead for me. I know there are the diehard Savatage fans who have been giving me a hard time since I started doing JOP. It gets very aggravating to me. Can't these guys read? All they have to do is turn the TSO album over and there's your Savatage! That's the band that these guys are all bitching about reuniting. We haven't gone anywhere, we haven't broken up! We've been working consistently since Dead Winter Dead for God's sake. Nothing has changed but the name, and the name was changed to protect the name. As musicians, and as what we wanted to do, we outgrew the name Savatage as being a heavy metal band that started in the early 80's. We outgrew the name and it was becoming a hindrance on us gaining the success that we had just spent the best years of our lives trying to obtain. Now we have finally obtained it and I still have people bitching at me! (laughs) I just can't win! I don't know what to do... should I buy you guys a drink or something? Give me a break man. Js sem na takem resnem Savatage tripu zadnje cajte, pa me zanima, če ma kdo akorde za When the Crowds are Gone (ne tablature) za igrat ob tabornem ognju. Ne znam skint po posluhu, pa bi prosu za pomoč.

Devetnajstega junija greva dva na Savatage v Munchen. Če bi šel kdo zraven naj javi. Zna bit zadnja bližnja šansa za slišat in videt legende! Grem pa s primorske čez Lj in potem gor. In ker so prodali tolk kart so premaknili koncert v večjo halo ------------- Edge of thorns |
