Groove metal je u bistvu "omiljena" verzija thrash metala, z precej upočasnjenim tempom in velikim vplivom na nu-metal:D

mah, za mene pa ta žanr ne obstaja (gor našteti bandi so alternative, thrash al pa industrial, no pantera je pa pantera  ) ... groove lahk ma death, black, heavy thrash, metalcore...

Groove metal. A Kiddie metal tud obstaja? Če so založbe s tem, ko so si izmislile "groove" metal pokrile hašišarsko populacijo, je čas, da gredo na osvajat nove teritorije v kolaču potrošnikov. Žalostno od vsega pa je, da se vedno nek biser najde, ki dela s temi izmišljenimi žanri založbam reklamo. Človek, bi še šteku, če bi ga plačal. Ampak verjetno se sploh ne zaveda kaj počne. Povrh vsega je pa ta izmišljotina bila poskus v 90ih, ampak eni še danes očitno verjameko tem bedarijam, ko še folk, ki si je to zmislu več ne verjame, da kdo verjame. Letos izideta (vsaj) dva napovedana, z moje strani težko pričakovana albuma, in sicer Machine Head bodo izdali "Unto The Locust" 27.9. in pa Chimaira 16.8. izdajo "The Age Of Hell".
